I am currently a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. J.W. Zu at the University of Toronto. My work is being conducted in the Computational Vibration and Dynamics Laboratory (CVDL), which is part of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. My research is on the dynamic analysis and design optimization of automotive serpentine belt drive systems. This research is funded partly by Materials and Manufacturing Ontario (MMO).
Prior to commencing my study at the University of Toronto in 1999, I completed an M.Sc. in Structural Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, in Tehran, Iran. My research was in the area of dynamic analysis of bridges traversed by vehicles. I completed my B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the same university in 1996.
